Obituary of David George Gherasim

GHERASIM, DAVID September 7, 1941- January 5, 2013 Beloved husband of Diane (Thornton). Dear father to Chris (Carol), Jeff (Penny), Greg (Angela) and Kevin (Tammy). Proud Grandpa of Cory, Trevor, Jordyn, Lyndsay, Dayna and extended grandkids Chet (2012), Chad and Alycia. Cherished brother of Pearl (John), Sonny (Virginia), Bill (Valerie) and Jacquie (Rick). Brother in law to Terry and Janice(Chris Smith). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents George and Helen. Dave was retired from Ford Transportation. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Much gratitude for the compassion and exceptional care by the staff and volunteers at Hospice of Windsor and Essex county, Leamington Hospital and to Beth Reid and all of the staff from C.C.A.C.
