Obituary of Ivan Boras

BORAS, Ivan Passed away peacefully on December 13, 2012 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of 44 years to Ljilja Boras. Loving father of Vesna Boras, Ana & David Markett and Vice & Linda Boras. Predeceased by parents Stipan and Anica Boras. Survived by mother and father in-law; Janja and Mile Boras (in Vitina). Adored grandfather of Allissa, Luka and Adam. Cherished brother of Vice Boras (Iva), Gojko Boras (Sima) and the late Vesa Petrovic (late Pero). Ivan will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ivan was employed by Fabco for many years. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Banwell Rd. on Sunday December 16, 2012 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers Sunday at 8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday December 17, 2012 at 10:00 am from the Banwell Chapel then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in Bosnia and Hercegovina. In lieu of flowers, it is Ivan's wish that donations may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Parish or St. Paskal Parish ( Vitina, B + H).
