Obituary of William Henry Longden

LONGDEN, William Henry Passed away peacefully, on Thursday October 18, 2012 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus, at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Muriel ( nee Towler, passed away in England-July 20, 2012). Dear Step Father of Thelma and the late Joan; and Father of Wendy, Amy, Muriel, William, Christopher and Steven. A loving, Father-In-Law, Grandad, Great Grandad, as well as Great, Great Grandad. Dear Brother of Frederick, Richard, Mary; and the late George, Alfred, Gerard, Bernard, Wilfred and Margaret. Mr. Longden served in the British Army for 7 years, including WWll, and was a retired skilled tradesman from Chrysler Canada Ltd. The family extends special thanks to the Nurses on 4 North At Metropolitan Hospital, for their wonderful and compassionate care, in the last few weeks of his life. A private visitation and service took place at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 591.253.7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd., East. Cremation followed.
