Obituary of Aurelio Llana

LLANA, Aurelio Passed away peacefully at Riverside Place Nursing Home September 11, 2012 at 88 years of age. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Maria (Alvarez- Fernandez). Cherished father of Jose Luis (Claudia) Llana, Maria (Richard) Leblanc, Elizabeth (Scott) Merritt. Loved by his grandchildren Vanessa, Daniel, Eric, Cassandra, Mason, Devin, Jazcinta. A dear brother remembered by his surviving siblings in Spain along with many nieces and nephews. Aurelio immigrated to Canada with a dream to build a better life for his family. As an electrician, he took pride working in the Falconbridge Nickel Mines and at the General Motors Transmission plant from which he retired yet remained current on technology throughout his senior years. A special thanks to the staff at Riverside Place for their kindness to him and Maria and the nursing staff at Windsor Regional Hospital for their support during his final days. A private family service to celebrate his life was held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME(Banwell Chapel).
