Obituary of Leona June Matte

Matte, Leona June (nee Cavanagh) April 23, 1929 - July 5, 2012 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother after a short and sudden illness at the age of 83. Will be dearly missed by husband Cliff of 61 years, her children Darlene Shaw (Bruce), Exeter, Ont., Jan Matte-Gasparovic (Joe), Gary Matte (Leslie), Gail Matte Leach (Roy) all of Tecumseh, Ont. and Holly Fletcher (Ethan) of Iona Station, Ont. G-Ma will be forever loved by her grandchildren Ben, Miranda, Mark, Mallory, Mitchell, Garrison, Griffin, Silken and Jazz. Predeceased by parents Gladys and Melvin Cavanagh, brothers Earle, Kirk and Reg. Survived by sister-in-law Ruth Cavanagh and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends at Westchester. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Banwell Rd. on Monday July 9 2012 from 11-2 pm.
