Obituary of Caterina Girimonte

GIRIMONTE, Caterina (nee Iaquinta) Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 10, 2012 at 92 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Girimonte (1979). Cherished mother of Rosetta and Aurelio Paglia, the late Antonio survived by Maria Girimonte, Maria and Luigi Albano, Gabriele and Nancy Girimonte, Filomena and Antonio Delicata, Giovanni and Ruth Girimonte, Luigi and Elena Girimonte, Franco and the late Sylvia Girimonte, Teresa and Angelo Secreti, Anna and David Kostuik. Loving Nonna to 31 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 5th generation of one. Dear daughter of the late Gabriele Iaquinta and Maria Costanza Belcastro and daughter in-law of the late Antonio Girimonte and Rosa Loria of Italy. Dear sister of Marietta and late Giovanni Iaquinta, survived by Anna Iaquinta and late Giuseppe Mancina, the late Angela Iaquinta survived by husband Francesco Romano of Italy. Sister of the late Luigi and late Teresa Iaquinta, Giovanni and Teresa Piccolo, Simone and Serafina Iaquinta of Windsor. Sister in-law of the late Giovanni and Marietta Girimonte, the late Teresa and Antonio Nicoletti, the late Maria Girimonte of Windsor, the late Nun Maria Crocifissa of Italy. Along with many nieces and nephews in Europe, Canada and USA. A special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses of Hospice for their wonderful care for our mother. Family and friends will be received on Saturday May 12, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (804 Grand Marais Road East) from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.
