Obituary of Alice Bourque

BOURQUE, Alice (nee St.Louis) It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of a loving mother, grandmother and sister on April 27, 2012 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Victor Masse and Paul Bourque. Loving mother to Donald Masse (Alice Ann), the late James Masse and wife Martha, Robert Masse and his late wife Elaine, the late Charles Masse, Judy Minielly (Gord), Thomas Masse (Patricia), Diane Masse, Ivan Masse (Rebecca), and Vincent Masse (Jennifer). Cherished grandma and meme to 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Rita Crosby and her late husband Jack. Predeceased by her parents George and Lillie St. Louis, sisters, Rena Beaulieu (Bernard), Sr. Rosemarie St. Louis and brothers Dennis St. Louis (Alice), and George St. Louis and surviving wife Shirley. Dear sister in-law to Cecile and husband Leonard Janisse, Loretta Masse, Victor and wife Janet Bourque, Yvette Bourque, the late Chuck and Flo Bourque, the late Ben and Joan Bourque, and the late Camille and surviving wife Margaret. Survived by many nieces and nephews and she will be sadly missed by her best friend and furry companion Xena. Alice's greatest passion was playing cards and having a few beers with family and friends. She was also a former member to Royal Canadian Legion Branch #255. (Corner of Tecumseh and Banwell) on Sunday April 29, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. in the Banwell Chapel. Officiating by her nephew Fr. Rick Janisse. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
