Obituary of Robert Thomas Shore

SHORE, Robert Thomas " Tom " Passed away suddenly but peacefully in Windsor Ontario on Tuesday , April 3, 2012 with his wife Hilda at his side. He was born in Ottawa on February 2, 1927 , son of the late Frank Wilfrid Shore ( 1981 ) and Queenie Alexandra ( Harper ). Survived by his daughter Judith Thorne and his son Stephen Shore ( Beverly ) and his sister Barbara Bova ( Carl ) all of Ottawa. Predeceased by his niece Karen Wallace ( 2008 ). Survived by his niece Nancy Wallace, great niece Serena Favrin, great nephews Daniel and Roberto Favrin and their father Nereo Favrin. Also survived by cousins Jim and Dianne Moore, Maureen Moore ( Tom 2012 ), Sue and Ted Carr, Ann and John Moore, Gary and Brenda Moore, and Bonnie and Don Nead. Mr. Shore had lived in Windsor since 1954 and was a longtime employee of The Windsor Star. He served with the Merchant Marines in World War II.
