He adored, loved spending time with and frequently bragged about his five grandchildren: Kirsten, Craig, Alexander, Max and Kylee. They loved their Papa and will miss his stories and laughter. Papa was their Number One Fan. D'Arcy is survived by his two brothers Douglas and Orlanda Marentette and James and Sue Marentette , and brothers-in-laws Robert and Bonnie Drago and Roger and Thelma Drago. He is predeceased by daughter Andrea, parents Estelle and Wilfred, sister Lise, brother Val and his in-laws Ida and Leo Drago and sisters - in - law Patricia and Shirley. He is survived by countless friends, colleagues and extended family. D'Arcy was a well-respected and well - known man in the community. His first job was with Loblaws Grocery as a stock boy; with hard work and dedication, he found his niche with State Farm. D'Arcy ran a successful State Farm Agency for 48 years. He did so with integrity and honesty and will be remembered as a businessman beyond reproach. D'Arcy was an avid bowler from the age of twelve. He started his career as a pin boy at Crescent Lanes Bowling Alley and some fifty years later D'Arcy was inducted into the Essex County Hall of Fame. He was President of the Windsor Essex County Bowling Association for many years. He was loved by the bowling community and sponsored many teams. D'Arcy was a friend to all who knew him. He was one of the most giving and generous men to have walked the earth. He was always ready with a smile, a helping hand, a buck or a beer for his friends, family and track boys. He never turned down a friend in need. Our hearts are heavy with sorrow as we say good-bye to the world's best husband, father, grandfather and friend. We love you D'Arcy. " Have a nice day ."
