Obituary of Peter Sozonchuk

SOZONCHUK, Peter It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of our father and brother, Peter. Loving husband to the late Marleen (2004) and father to son Scott (1998). Caring father of daughter Tracy and husband Jay Fox. Also leaving behind brother Mike Sozonchuk and wife Eleanor, sisters Eva Siniuk and husband Nick, Mary Shulgan (1963), cousin Myron Shulgan and wife Nancy and many nieces and nephews. Pete retired in 1998 from Chrysler Transport. He was an avid Stock car fan and was inducted into the Checker Flag Hall of Fame in 2007 for his accomplishments as a driver. Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Banwell Rd. on Wednesday December 21, 2011 from 2-5 p.m and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at 11:00 a.m on Thursday December 22, 2011 at the Funeral Home. Internment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
