Obituary of Sava Jagoda Puskaric

PUSKARIC, Sava Jagoda "Sonja" (Nee Korac). Born January 27, 1950 in Cemernica, Croatia. At the age of 61, she passed into God's loving hands peacefully on November 14, 2011. Beloved wife of 44 years to Zvonko. Loving mother to Alen and his wife Tammy (nee Charron). Cherished "Baka" to Alyssa and Joshua. Dear sister to Milan Korac (Amalija); Dragan Korac (Ljubica); and Seka Miletic (Ivan). Dear sister-in-law to Zlatko Puskaric (Visnja); and Branka Stajduhar (Tom). She also leaves behind many extended family and dear friends. Sonja was born in Croatia and immigrated to Canada in 1970. She was a very successful business woman, as the owner/operator of "Pita Pazzaz" in Devonshire Mall. Her family would like to thank the entire staff of W.R.H. - 4 West for all their care and compassion they provided to her. Parish prayers at 8 pm. Funeral services on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 9:30 am from the Banwell Chapel then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church (1701 Turner Rd.) for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
