I have very fond memories of Mrs. Lamoureux, my loving corn detassling leader, through whom I met and developed a lifelong friendship with her daughter Joan. Mrs. Lamoureux was a caring and practical mother who trusted her children to become their very best selves no matter what they chose to do in their lives and loved them all deeply. Joan and I often said "Irene and (my mom) Cecile should meet- they are so much alike". I know Irene has been reunited with her husband Maurice and may be off on a car camping adventure and I also know she has met Cecile in heaven and they are sharing stories about their children. Rest in Peace Mrs. Lamoureux.
