Obituary of Nadino Santarossa

SANTAROSSA Nadino Passed away peacefully, with his family near, on Tuesday November 1, 2011 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of 55 years to Adriana (nee Pillot). Dear father of Diane and husband Chris Battersby of Maidstone; Susan and husband Rob White; and John Santarossa, all of Windsor; and Rita and husband Craig Webb, of Tecumseh. Caro Nonno of Shawn, Lyndsay and Meagan Battersby; and Brian and Rachel White. Dear brother of Enna Mores, and her late husband Nareo; Pietro and wife Anna Santarossa, all of Italy, and the late Luigia Baradel and her late husband Angelo. Dear brother-in-law of Gina Morasset, Maria Polleselo, and Lidia Marchesini, all of Italy and the late Eugenio Pillot. Also surviving are many nieces , nephews and relatives in Canada and Italy. Mr. Santarossa was retired following many of service with various construction companies, and Dominion Forge. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd., East (corner of Banwell & Tecumseh Rd., East) 253.7234, on Thursday November 3, 2011 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Prayers Thursday at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service Friday November 4, 2011 at 9:30 am from the funeral home, then to St. Anne`s Church Tecumseh for funeral mass at 10:00 am.
