Obituary of Nettie Kushniruk

KUSHNIRUK- Nettie (nee Hawryluk) 94 years. With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother on June 29, 2011. Nettie was born in Manitoba to Annie and Carl one of the first of the West pioneers. Nettie and Alex (deceased 1989) married in Chatham 1935. They farmed most of their lives in Fletcher and Dover Center where they had many friends. Nettie spent the last 4 years comfortably at Oak Park near her family. Mother of Joanne and husband Lino Marcuzzi, Bill Kushniruk and wife Dianna. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren- Carey Hollinsky (Scott), Kevin Marcuzzi (Sandy), Jason Kushniruk (Karen), Dr. Nicole St. Amour (Scott), Lana Kushniruk (fianc"e Roger Berton). Great grandmother of Tanner, Samantha, Evan, Hayden, Jack, Parker, Ryan, Alex and Ashley. Sister of William Hawryluk and wife Sodie, Mike (deceased), John (deceased), Mary (deceased), Olga (deceased), Eddie (deceased). Many nieces and nephews survive. She was a kind and loving person who will be greatly missed all who knew her. A special thankyou to Nettie's friends & staff at Oak Park for the love you have shown her. Funeral services on Saturday July 2, 2011 at 10am in the chapel. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery (Chatham, ON). Donations may be made to the Charity of your Choice.
