SAVIN, Mladenko."Mike" Born December 26, 1922 in Kastel, Luksic, Croatia. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on June 20, 2011 at Heron Terrace, at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of 34 years to Zora (nee Brletic). Dear step-father to Boris Jarnevic and wife Debra, Anka Dragovic and husband Vinko. Father to Ana Peakovic and late husband Anton and their families. Cherished Dida to Sandy and Leo Pasciuta, Marina and Mike Sirizzotti; Jennifer, Matthew and Julie Jarnevic, and Christina and Peter Dragovic. Great-grandfather (Dida) to Leonardo, Sarina and Luca Pasciuta, and Gianna Sirizzotti. Predeceased by parents Mijo and Boza Savin; sisters Ana and Jelica; brothers Jozo, Ante, Ivan, Niko and Bozo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Croatia. Mladenko was a retired employee of Riverside Construction and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 494. E.) on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from the Banwell Chapel then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
