Obituary of Janina Balon

BALON, Janina( nee Wiercigroch) Went to be with her lord and saviour Jesus Christ following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer for 5 years on June 18th, 2011 in her 64th year. She went peacefully and quietly at Hospice Residence surrounded by her loving family. Adored wife and best friend of Jozef Balon of 43 years. Beloved mother of Dariusz and wife Michelle, Wojciech and wife Agnieszka and proud grandmother of Shannon, Ryan, Nicole and Mateusz. By her side throughout the battle her loving sister Margaret with husband Irek Struski and her brother Jan and his wife Hanna Wiercigroch. Survived with her family back home in Poland is her mother Stanislawa and father Wojciech(1977), also brother Kazimierz and wife Kazimiera. She will be deeply missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. We the Balon family would like to send our thank you to the care givers who helped the family through this difficult time. Windsor and London cancer clinics, Bayshore staff, St. Elizabeth staff, CCAC and a very special thank you to the staff at Windsor Hospice Residence home for their outstanding and amazing care they gave Janina through this difficult time. We are forever grateful for the help to our family. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) (corner of Banwell & Tecumseh Rd.) 253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday June 21, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m with parish Prayers at 8:00pm. Funeral Services on Wednesday June 22, 2011 leaving the funeral home at 9:00am in procession to Holy Trinity Polish Catholic Church for funeral mass at 10:00am.
