I first met Betty back when we were in Gr 7 at St James elementary school, and was friends with her those two years and then throughout high school. Betty was gentle, kind, humourous and humble, never bragging even though she had considerable athletic skills. Betty made our growing years through adolescence very enjoyable. She was a pleasure to chum with during that time in our lives and was well like in our social circle. I trust her partner and sons will have other fond memories of their own to sustain them through the loss of this delightful woman. Diane
