I've known Ron for many years. We shared a lot of good times as union rep.s and friends outside of work when he lived in Windsor. Ron was a good and loyal friend. He was a good union man who listened and thought before speaking, which was one of his traits that helped guide Local 200 members and Western Canada brothers and sisters toward a better standard of living. Ron's presence will be missed though many of the good things he's done will continue. Pete

Ron was well-respected by the membership of Local 200 as well as the members of the various other local unions he serviced as a national staff representative. He will truly be missed. Can't be at the funeral but wanted to pass on my condolences to the family. Ron's passing was a shock to everyone, I always appreciated Ron's pleasant and youthful demeanor and his curious intelligence. He'll be remembered by all who interacted with him. Best to the family as they go through this shock and deal with moving on..
