Obituary of Josip Culumovic

CULUMOVIC, Josip Passed away peacefully on May 27, 2011 at Hotel Dieu Hosptial with his loving family at his side, at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband for 53 years to Manda. Loving father to Anna and Keith Thompson, Kathy and Ivan Marekovic, and Josephine Berns. Cherished Didi to Jamie, Johnnie, Eric, Michael, Taylor and Lauren. Dear brother to Ivan and wife Mira Culumovic. Predeceased by parents Stipe and Manda Culumovic, sister Ana (1939) and brother Milan (2009). Dear cousin of Petar and Anka Culumovic, Ivan and Maria Pocrnic and Jure and Ana Murgic. Also survived by nieces and family in Canada and Croatia. Josip was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (corner of Banwell and Tecumseh Rd E.) on Tuesday May 31, 2011 from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. Parish Prayers Tuesday at 8pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday June 1st, 2011 at 9 am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
