Obituary of Josephine Babich

Josephine passed away peacefully on December 31, 2019 with loving family by her side after a long and courageous battle with dementia. Loving wife of the late Frank (1997). Proud mother of Frank (Brenda), Susan Lucier, Rose (Ernesto Bordin) and Mark. Special Baba of Russell, Brynn, Stephanie (Alan), Carson, Matthew and Alyssa. Great grandmother to Zackary, Amelia, Alan and Vada. Also survived by sisters Catherine Vlasic, Mari Novacich, and many nieces and nephews. Josie retired from Hiram Walker in 1990. She loved to bowl, bake, knit, watch her Toronto Maple Leafs and listen to country music. The family would like to thank the staff of Huron Lodge for their wonderful care over the past four years. Your compassion will never be forgotten! Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Friday January 3, 2020 from 6-8pm. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
