JANISSE- Gertrude (Nee Barbe) Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on April 22, 2011 at Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus. Loving and devoted wife of 69 years to Lawrence. Loving mother of Annette Kennedy and husband Ken , of Lapeer MI, Clarence Janisse and wife Cathy of Alberta, Gerald Janisse and wife Linda-Jane of Stoney Creek, Ronald Janisse and wife Joanne of Amherstburg, and predeceased by one son Robert (1953). Cherished grandmother of Daniel & Anne, David & Julianne, Deborah- Lynn & Paul, Christine, Jennifer, Allison & Chad, Michael, Laurie & Dave, and Trevor. Predeceased by one grandson Gregory and one grandaughter Kellie. Dear great grandmother of 15 grandchildren. Dear sister of Evelyn Emery (late Gene) of Kingsville, Hector Barbe and wife Loretta of Welland, late Greta Soulliere (late Gide), late Wilfred Barbe (late Mary), late Maurice Barbe (Dell) of Florida, late Janet Tellier (Ed) of Georgetown. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Gertrude was a member of the Catholic Womens League of Our Lady of the Atonement. Parish Prayers Mon at 7:30pm. Funeral services on Tuesday April 26, 2011 at 9:30am from the funeral home then to Our Lady of the Atonement Church for funeral mass at 10:00am.
