Obituary of Elinore Ruth MacKenzie

ANGER-MACKENZIE Elinore Ruth ( nee Andrews ) May 2, 1916 - April 3, 2011 After a brave and courageous fight we sadly announce the passing of our beautiful mother , Elinore. Reunited with her loving husband William Anger ( 1977 ) and William MacKenzie (1994). Dear mother of Charles Anger ( 2001)( Gail ) , James Anger ( Carole ), Laura Allard - Lavoie ( Pete ), Gene Anger ( Alma ), Sylvia Rushmere ( John ) & Barbara DeGuire ( Real ). Step mother of Donna Falloon ( Howard ). Loved by many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Elinore enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, knitting & socializing at the Edgar Senior Centre where she was a life member. The family would like to thank the staff at the Village of Aspen Lake, Malden Park & Oak Park Terrace for Elinore's excellent care. At Elinore's request cremation has taken place. A private interment to follow at a later date. " Suffering much , you murmured not, we watched you day by day, And prayed to the Lord above, that you would not be taken away. We little knew that morning God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories that we can call our own. Your warmth will never leave us , Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one.
