I met Mr. Dugal a few years ago when my wife's step-father Jim Tadgell moved into Banwell Gardens. It was a difficult time, as I'm sure you know, but it was made easier when Larry took Jim under his wing. He made sure Jim, who was suffering from Alzheimer's, made it to the dining room for his three meals. He helped Jim find his way around the home and helped him settle in. Despite his difficulties, Larry was always in a good mood and up for a chat about sports. We will always remember his' kindness and compassion - may he rest in peace.
