Obituary of Gerard Villemaire

VILLEMAIRE, Gerard Peacefully on February 15th, 2011 at the age of 87 years at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Reunited with his loving wife Annette ( 1978 ) and son Normand ( 1959 ). Devoted and loved dad to Guy & wife Micheline - Montreal , Claude & wife Rosemary and Marcel & wife Francine all of Lakeshore. Predeceased by parents Yvonne & Hormidas. Cherished pepe to Natalie, Daniel, Lauren and Kristin. Beloved brother of Rita ( Achille ) ; Cecile ( Aime ) ; Rheal ( Ange-Aimee ); Roland ( Judith ); and predeceased by Ernest ( 1979) ( Rhea); Roger ( 1989 ) ( Madeleine ) ; Anita ( 2003) ( Paul ). Lovingly remembered by dear friend Jeannette Mailloux and by numerous nieces and nephews. Gerard was a resident of La Chaumiere. A heartfelt thanks to the staff of La Chaumiere and Hotel Dieu Hospital for the exceptional care shown to our Dad. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) ( 519-253-7234) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. ( corner of Banwell & Tecumseh Rd E .) on Friday February 18th, 2011 from 10:00 AM until time of Gerard's Memorial Service at 12:00 PM in the Banwell Chapel. A private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society ( envelopes available at the funeral home ).
