Obituary of Raymond Joseph Cameron

CAMERON, Raymond Joseph Passed away on February 4, 2011 at the age of 72 . Devoted ,loving husband, best friend and golf partner of Doreen ( nee Renaud ) sharing 49 years of love and companionship. Beloved father of Kim Lachance and son in law Tim , Raymond Jr., and Karen Cameron and son in law Phil Beauchamp . Cherished papa to Brittany Beauchamp , Sarah , Eric, Jared Lachance , Gavin, Michelle, Jeremy, Robert and Joseph Cameron. Precious great papa to Payton Lynn, Kody and Brittany. Predeceased by his mother Ruth Strong ( nee Marentette ). Dear son in law of Edna and the late Merrill Renaud. Dear brother in law to Marilyn Buchanan & husband Ray and Melvin Renaud . Survived by many nieces and nephews. Raymond for many years was the Produce Manager at the Dominion Stores in Windsor , he decided to leave his job as a Produce Manager to become a Mechanical Draftsman at Concept Tool Design where he worked for many years . Raymond was a long time member of the K of C - Fr. Nicholas Point Council # 4375 ( 3rd Degree ) . His passions in life were Golf, where he was a longtime member of Lakewood Golf Course for 50 years and a tireless advocate for the Right to Life, fighting for the unborn who have no voice. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) ( 519-253-7234 ) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. ( corner of Banwell & Tecumseh Rd E.) on Monday February 7, 2011 from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Parish prayers Monday at 4:00 PM and Knights of Columbus prayers Monday at 7:30 PM celebrated by the members of the Fr. Nicholas Point Council # 4375. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM from the Banwell Chapel then to Ste. Anne's Church - Tecumseh ( 12233 Tecumseh Rd E. ) for Mass of the Ressurection at 10:30 AM. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations may be made to the Right to Life, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
