Obituary of John Black

BLACK John Passed away peacefully, with loving family by his side at Windsor Regional Hospital on Friday February 4, 2011 at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of Paula (nee Roeder). Dear father of Brendan Black and wife Shelly; and Katherine Black. Cherished Grandfather of Loic Black. Dear brother of Ann, Kerian Black, and Eugene Black, all of Ireland; Thomas McConville of New York, and the late Jared Black. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews in Ireland. John was retired from Chrysler Canada following nearly 36 years of service, and a longtime member of CAW Local 444. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME ( BANWELL CHAPEL) 11677 Tecumseh Rd., East ( Corner of Banwell & Tecumseh Rd., East) on Sunday February 6, 2011 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to celebrate John's life Monday February 7, 2011 at 10:30 am in the chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
