Obituary of Kayla-Marie Arden Burns
BURNS Kayla-Marie Arden Passed away far too soon, after a short but courageous fight with cancer, on Sunday January 9 2011 at the age of 17 years. Beloved daughter of Marnie Burns of Windsor.Sorely missed by her brother Khalil Handsor, and his father Paul, all of Windsor. Dear Grandaughter of Helen Burns of Windsor, Larry and Irene White of Anchorage Alaska, and Sherry and Paul Handsor, of Windsor. Dear Great Grandaughter of Millie White. Waiting for Kayla in Heaven with open arms is her Grandpa James, as well as her many Great-Grandparents. Special niece of Angela Rocheleau and husband Mickey of Windsor, as well as many aunts and uncles and many cousins and relatives in Windsor, the U.S. and worldwide. Kayla was a Grade 12 student at Walkerville Secondary School. She had a love for the arts, and dance, had a passion for animals, and would have started a co-op program at a local Veterinarian's office later this month. She will be sadly missed by her family and all of her buddies at Walkerville. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (BANWELL CHAPEL) 11677 Tecumseh Rd., East on Wednesday January 12, 2011 for visitation from 1-5 pm, and from 6 pm, until time of Funeral Service to celebrate Kayla's life at 7:30 pm. Cremation to follow. As your expression of sympathy, donations to Transition to Betterness, or to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, would be appreciated by the family.
