Obituary of Blanche Denise Bastien

BASTIEN, BLANCHE (nee Desjardins) After a long and difficult battle with cancer, Blanche passed away at Malden Park Continuing Care, on October 15, 2010, at the age of 77 years with her family at her side. Predeceased by her late husband Raymond (2000). Predeceased by sons Richard and Douglas Bastien. Loving mother to Jeannine Bastien, and grandmother to Melodia Bastien. Dear sister to Rose Croteau and late husband Leo, Theresa Pare and late husband Arthur, Cecile and husband Frank Pare, and predeceased by brother Eugene and wife Shirley Desjardins. She also left behind many neices and nephews that loved her and will always remember her. Thank you to the staff at Malden Park who tended to her needs for the last 5 months of her journey. E., (Corner of Banwell and Teumseh), on Monday, October 18, 2010, from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at 9 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St. Alphonsus Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
