Obituary of Colby Jayse Vachon

VACHON , Colby Jayse Our hero has passed away and courageously lost his battle with brain cancer, at the age of 8 . Colby passed away in the loving arms of his mom and dad, on September 15, 2010 at Hospice Village Residence. Precious and loving son of Liliana and William Sheldon and Jason Vachon . Cherished big brother to Amelia and Clayton Sheldon. Adoring grandson to Mario & Maria Battagin, Christina & Paul Vachon, Theresa Sheldon and special great grandson of Theresa Preston. Beloved nephew of Lorella & Vic Pavlovski, Lori & Frank Battagin, Beth Bartlett, Scott & Rita Vachon, Paul & Susan Vachon and Nicole Vachon. Loved cousin of Joey, Daniel, Gregory, Derek, Samantha, Erik, Alexius, Peter and Alysa. Colby will be joined in heaven by Bisnonni, Zia's , Zio's, Meme , Pepe, Aunts , Uncles, Marshall and Papa, who is waiting to go fishing. Colby was an avid Spit's Fan, Lego Builder and Boater who attended Grade 3 at St. Mary's School - Maidstone . Colby touched so many lives and he will be forever loved and missed by his friends who gave unselfishly of their time and support to Colby and his family. Words can not express our heartfelt thanks to the unconditional support shown to us especially by the dedicated Doctor's , Nurses and support staff of Hospice Residence, London Health Sciences, Toronto Sick Kids , Metropolitan Hospital, to our friends at Ronald McDonald House, John McGivney Children's Centre, St. Mary's Church , St. Mary's School, CCAC, and to Linda Reaume you have forever left an imprint on our hearts. Colby was a huge Windsor Spitfires Fan. Please honour his memory by wearing casual or Spitfire attire. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME ( BANWELL CHAPEL) 11677 Tecumseh Rd East ( located at the corner of Banwell and Tecumseh Rd) on Sunday September 19, 2010 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM. Family and Friends are invited to gather at St. Mary's Church (Maidstone) on Monday September 20, 2010 at 10:30 AM until time of Colby's funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow. In memory of Colby and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Village Residence or to the above mentioned organizations ( envelopes available at the funeral ).
