They created and cared so kindly and expertly for Dave. Their soft touch was felt to the end. Our family thanks Dr. Michael Lai (2009) who always helped Dave whenever needed, even making house calls. His last nurses Joe and Ella in ICU at Windsor Regional were so careful and kind with Dave. We thank them for respecting David to the end. David was a leader, a true teacher, a pioneer, living a good life in his own home and running "Dave"s Deliveries and Baskets". He showed everyone all over the world that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Dave"s achievements were immense, despite what doctors predicted . The international disability movement was inspired and people with disabilities and their families gained hope for the future from Dave. His voice was powerful.
