Obituary of Alfred Farrand

FARRAND- Alfred Passed away July 2, 2010 at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by his late wife Angelena Farrand (nee Donais) (2003). Beloved father of Diana Tracey and husband Ed, Tamela Marston and husband Ron. Also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Elric, Rose, Eva, Verna, Emily, Henry, Molly, Steve, Raymond, and survived by sisters Alice and Gladys. Alfred was an employee of Intercity Trucking, a member of The Teamsters and was a Veteran of WWII serving 3 years overseas. He was an avid bowler. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOMES LTD (BANWELL CHAPEL) 11677 Tecumseh Road East on Sunday July 4, 2010 from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. A Veteran's Service under the Auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Service Committee Sunday at 7pm followed by Parish prayers at 7:30pm. Relatives and friends will be received for visitation on Monday July 5, 2010 at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Road) from 9:30am until time of funeral mass at 10:00am.
