Obituary of Appalonia Elizabeth Baumgartner

BAUMGARTNER, Appalonia (nee Sebastian) It is with heavy hearts that the family of Appalonia Baumgartner announce the passing of their beloved mother and granny, on March 14, 2013, at the age of 88, at Regency Park, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Montmartre, Saskatchewan, daughter of the late Charles & Helen (nee Schmidt) Sebastian. Appalonia is now waltzing with her beloved husband, the late Steffan (Steve) Baumgartner (1996). Loving mother of the late Ronald (1998) & Eilona, Mildred & Clyde LaBonte, Marvin & Betty, Terrence & Peggy, Claudette & John. The best granny to 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Windsor and western provinces. Appalonia was a long time parishioner of St. Theresa"s Church and a member of the Golden Age Card Club, Seniors With A Difference Club, and the Forest Glade Seniors Card Club. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral services on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 10:15 from the funeral home then to St. Theresa"s Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Appalonia to the Alzheimer"s Society are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
