January 26, 1935 – April 26, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marina Thomas at the age of 85. Beloved Wife of Rustam for 61 years. Cherished and loved Mom of Eiman Overholt and Dianne Ropat (Mike). Adored Bebe by her six grandchildren, Dylan (Katherine), Dayne (Lynda), Dalys, Jordynne, Jesse, Parys (Jessie). Big Bebe to her great-grandchildren Oshae, Novalyn, Jenayah, Lyam, Jessie, Tiffani, Jayla, Jesiah and Lawrence. Sister to Layla (Ghalib) and brother, Samir (Wesal). Marina and Rustam were married on May 17, 1958. Marina loved her family and devoted her life to them. She loved nothing more than to call her family every day, even just to say hi. Marina was the sweetest woman and was loved by everyone that met her. Marina loved flowers, plants, and knitting. She was joyful, had a great sense of humour and a contagious laugh.
