Obituary of Emile Joseph McGraw

It is with profound sadness that the family of Joseph Emile McGraw of Windsor, Ontario, announce his passing on April 19th at the age of 68 years. Born in Pont-Landry, New Brunswick on Nov 4th 1951, he will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Stephanie (nee Salmons), father to Jamie Caza (Diane), Shannon (Ryan), Melissa, Nick (Madison). Devoted Papa to Jacob, Shelby, Xavier, Logan, and Olivia. Predeceased by his parents Gérald and Emilienne McGraw (nee Breault), siblings Anita Lebreton (Richard), Laurent McGraw (Diane), Laurie McGraw, and goddaughter Amy Jackson. He is survived by siblings Géraldine (Jean-Claude), Bernard (Diana), Ginette (Walter), Joanne (Mitchell), Claude, Suzanne, Onile, and Sylvio. Emile worked as a welder with various companies including Valco (Valiant), Wal Bridge, AGIP & I.T.T. Merit and retired in 2016. The love for his welding craft enabled him to create many gifts and garden keepsakes for friends and family. He will be remembered for always being behind a camera at family events as well as baseball and hockey games. A celebration of life will take place for family and friends at a later date. In lieu of donations, the family is asking you to stay home with your loved ones and cherish the time spent together. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has instituted the following directive: “The new maximum number of people who can be at a funeral home at one time (not including staff) is 10 or fewer. This pertains to the entire funeral home.”
