Obituary of Frank Klein

KLEIN, Frank 79 years, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 13, 2013 at Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Pat. Loving father of John & Frank Jr. Loving grandfather of Ryan. Predeceased by father Franz and mother Mary. He is also survived by very many friends whose lives were touched by him with special memories and experiences. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the devoted nursing and medical staff at Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital. Frank came to Canada in 1951 at the age of 17, and studied engineering. He became chief engineer at LaSalle Machine Tool, before starting his own businesses; Klendar and Frank Klein & Sons Machine Tool. He was also a respected teacher of engineering at St. Clair College. Frank will always be remembered as a wonderful host who loved cooking for all of his friends. He was a kind man who generously devoted himself to numerous charities and support several local sports teams. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Private burial services will be held on Thursday for family only per Frank"s wishes.
