Obituary of Ignazia Messina

MESSINA Ignazia (nee Vuturo) Passed away peacefully on Sunday January 6, 2013 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Pietro (Sept. 4, 2004). Dear mother of Vincent and Virginia, both of Windsor; Simon (Kim) of Fenton, Mich; and the late Antenet "Toni" Marshall (Robert). Dear Nonna of Lauren Montino (Gio); Kristen Marshall; and Alison and Jordan Messina. Dear Bis-Nonna to Nicolas Montino. Predeceased by her dear brothers and sisters, Giuseppe, Gaetana, Luca, Benedetto Damiano, Maria and Mattia. Also surviving are her dear Sisters-in-law, Maria Anna Messina, Liboria Messina, Rosa Vuturo and Fina Camarda , as well as many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Caterina Stranieri, for the loving care and compassion shown to our dear Mother and Nonna. Funeral Service Friday January 11, 2013 at 9:15 am from the funeral home, then to Our Lady of the Atonement Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
