Obituary of Enrico Paolini

PAOLINI, Enrico Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 26, 2012 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus, at the age of 98 years. Beloved husband of the late Luisa (nee Voccia) (2004). Loving father of Onoria " Norina" Iannitelli and late husband Andrea (2006), and Giuseppina "Josie" Carbone. Dear father in-law of Angelo Carbone and friend Eva. Caro Nonno of Ralph Iannitelli, Rosa Amicarelli and husband Joe, and Marco and Nicole Carbone, and Noelle Carbone. Caro Bis-Nonno of Bianca and Stefano Iannitelli, and Ashley and Adam Amicarelli. Predeceased by parents Beniamino and Chiara Rosa, and sisters Onoria and Francesca. Mr. Paolini was a proud and long-time member of the Ciociaro Club and a past member of the St. Onorio Society. Enrico retired from the construction industry after many years of dedicated service. He was a decorated WWII Veteran, an avid cycling enthusiast, supporter of Ferrari F1 racing and the Toronto Maple Leafs. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Tayfour, Dr. V. Maraj and Dr. R. Sorensen, nurse Josie from Para-Med, CCAC, The Red Cross, and the nursing staff at WRH, Met. Campus 5 North for the compassionate care provided to Enrico. Our memory of Enrico will be filled with love and kindness. We will miss his story-telling and witty sense of humor. Funeral Service on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 8:45 am from the funeral home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
