Obituary of Giuseppe Liburdi

LIBURDI, Giuseppe Passed away April 25, 2020 at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of 61 years to Margherita (nee Cerroni). Loving father of Vittorio (Maria Luisa) Liburdi, Antonio Liburdi, Paolo (Marie) Liburdi, Maria (Wayne) Vincent, and Anna Lisa (Mark) Hopkins. Cherished Grandfather to Vincenzo (Allyssa), Maddalena, Antonio, Sabrina, Mitchell, Kassandra and Isabella, and Great-grandfather to Henry. Beloved son of the late Paolo and Francesca Liburdi and son-in-law of Antonio and Vittoria Cerroni of Cecano,Frosinone, Italy. Dear brother of the late Vincenzo and surviving wife Vincenza Liburdi, the late Michele Liburdi and his late wife Rosanna Liburdi, the late Benedetto and his surviving wife Filomena Liburdi, Francesco and wife Antonietta Liburdi, the late Mario and surviving wife Michelina Liburdi, Giovanna and husband Angelo Liolli, and Toma and late wife Bonnie Liburdi. Dear brother-in-law to Giuseppina (Fernando), Italy, late Maria (Italy), late Vincenzo Cerroni, MI., and Sisto (Lina), MI., and Paulina (late Lorretto) Tiberia (Italy), late Andrea (Anna) Cerroni, MI. Giuseppe is survived by many nieces and nephews. A private family visitation and Funeral Service was held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234. Entombment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Giuseppe's life, memorial donation may be made directly to the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County (6038 Empress Street, Windsor Ontario, N8P 1B5). The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has instituted the following directive: "The new maximum number of people who can be at a funeral home at one time (not including staff) is 10 or fewer. This pertains to the entire funeral home."
