Obituary of Barbara Stanesic

STANESIC, Barbara (nee Mikulandric) 83 years. Passed away peacefully on October 10, 2012 at Extendicare Southwood Lakes with her loving family at her side. Reunited with her beloved husband Mate (Matt) (2006). Loving mother to Michael Stanesic and Marylyn of Windsor, Peter and Patricia Stanesic of LaSalle. Cherished "Baba" to Michael and Bryan Stanesic, and Michael and Eric Bachmeier. Predeceased by parents Ivan and Ivka Mikulandric. Dear sister to Danica, Marica, Katica, Ljubica and their families in Croatia. Dear sister-in-law to the late John Stanesic and surviving wife Ana. Barbara was a devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church and its choir. In her past time, Barbara enjoyed baking and gardening, but her greatest pride and joy in life was being surrounded by her family. E. on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
