Obituary of Stefan Ziganiuk

ZIGANIUK, Stefan "Steve" Passed away peacefully on September 20, 2012 at the age of 83. Dear husband of the late Gertrude "Trudy" (2010). Loving father of Gisele and husband Norbert Hartmann. Dear grandfather to Erich and wife Barbara, and Elyse. Son to the late Basil and Anna (Wolf) Ziganiuk. Brother to Phyllis Rutt and husband Roy, late Olga Webster and surviving husband Jack, Sylvia Dixon and late husband Dick and Josephine Lyder and husband Alex. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbors and close friends in Windsor and Leamington. Steve was an avid golfer, retired from A.G. Simpson and Windsor Tool, an active member of Catholic Men's Society, St. Vincent de Paul, the ushers club at St. Michael's German Church and Teutonia Club. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Metropolitan and Hotel Dieu Hospitals for their care and concern. E. on Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. followed by Catholic Men's Society prayers. Family and friends are requested to meet on Monday, September 24, 2012 at St. Michael's German Church (2153 Parkwood Ave.) from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
