To Nick and Diane and the entire Natasha’s family our sincere condolences on the passing of Maury. Thinking back to his early years when in most cases we were always passing your family in an arena somewhere through travel hockey. You were the the heart and soul that has guided Maury through his journey of life that has been cut way too short. The obituary itself speaks the truth of what a great son and family person he was and so many close friends that meant so much to him. Rest In Peace Maury you will never be forgotten in so many hearts for what a great person you were.

We want to express our sympathy To the Natyshak family on the passing of Maury. We have read with both sadness and pride the many stories, memories and condolences over his passing. He left an enduring legacy on everyone whom he touched. He set the bar high when it came to family and friends, leading by example when it came to love and commitment. Not surprising, given the way he was raised. Having been a part of this family for many years the good times were abundant and during the hard times we supported one another. We find ourselves once again facing a family tragedy over the loss of someone who gave so much. To paraphrase from the Wizard of Oz, when you have a heart like Maury’s you are not only judged by how much you love, but also by how much you are loved in return. This exemplifies Maury. He loved and he touched so many lives and as a result was loved in return. RIP Maury. Gerry and Maureen Oglan & Family

DiAnne, Nick, Jeff and Grandpa Moe. In these most challenging of times, we offer our sincerest sympathy and condolences on the passing of Maury. He was indeed a gentle giant of a person. Not only was he that, but he was a leader, following very closely in the steps of his Dad. I had the privilege of coaching and watching Maury perform in the Riverside Minor Baseball and Windsor Select organizations throughout the many O.B.A. Championships that he and his teammates won. He was always at the forefront when needed and seemed to thrive on pressure and welcome challenging situations. If there was anyone who you wanted to see at bat when we needed a run or two, it was Maury. We also saw the fun side of him. Who could ever forget, during the Bronfman Foundation sponsored baseball cultural exchange with a team from Ste. Anne Des Plains, Quebec, the strawberry picking that turned into a throwing escapade. That's when we saw the great arm strength that Moe possessed as he flung strawberries going from one end of the patch to the other...mostly in the direction of the opposing team. And the visit to the milk farm! Was it Maury squirting milk directly from the cow towards his teammates?? And what about the Sugar Shack. DiAnne, you acted as our French interpreter and taught us that 'Mos Qui Toe' in French was not an exotic wine!! We are sad to say 'goodbye' to Moe as he is now welcomed into the arms of his Grandma Jean, who we are sure will take great care of him, as she always did. And even though we do not see each other often now, our family will always have fond memories of our time with Maury, along with the Natyshak family. Rest in Peace Maury, knowing you will always be remembered. Bill & Pat Kell

Dear Nick and DiAnne. We cannot express how profoundly saddened we were to hear of Maury’s passing. We too remember the warm, summer evenings when the neighbourhood kids would play “ghost” together, even when Chris would be babysitting the boys. We watched them grow. Jeff would come over to “weed” but Maury wasn’t interested longer than a few minutes. I also remember Stephanie as a little girl in my class, then seeing her as a beautiful, competent nurse taking care of my brother in ICU. We were so fortunate to have you as neighbours. Please remember that as you go through this agonizing pain, you have many who support you which much love ❤️ Ron, Marian, Chris and Karen Barr

I'm really sorry to hear about Moe's passing. I went to highschool with Jeff and can't imagine what he's going through. In grade 9 I was the water boy for the Rebels' hockey team. I have a distinct memory of being in the locker room and a bunch of the guys were really picking on me. Moe was the one guy who stood up for me and it always stuck with me. Standing up for the little guy is a rarity in this world, and I really appreciated it. If that's the kind of guy he was, the world lost a good one. God is gracious and kind, even in the midst of suffering. Christ suffered and he stands in solidarity with those who do too. Just ask him, and he'll help. Cheers.
