Website Obituary<br/>LUCAS, Elissa Maureen<br/>July 21, 1991 - April 4, 2020<br/>It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Elissa in her 29th year. Elissa leaves behind her sons, Antonio and Vincenzo, and their father, Saverio Macri and his family. Survived by loving father, Geoffrey (late Anne). Cherished sister to Erica, Elizabeth, Erin, Eileen, and Emily. She was a proud aunt to Desiray, Dustin, Caidence, Joceline, Liam, Maggie, Geoffrey, Jylynn, JJ. Micah, Brooklynn, Tristan, and the late Angel. Beloved Granddaughter to Glenn and Anne Hutton and the late Eric and Edith Lucas and Don Williams. She has many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends from Windsor, Newfoundland, Alberta and all over Ontario that will all greatly miss her. Elissa had a brilliant smile and you couldn’t miss her joy as she gazed into her sons' faces. Her inspiring message was: “Success is not final, Failure is not fatal: it is courage to continue that counts!!” She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends and her beautiful smile would light up your soul. She was our sunshine and even on the darkest, stormiest of days, Elissa was always the one there with open arms and a shoulder to cry on for anyone who needed her. She loved spending time with her family and always pushed us to be closer together. Nothing made her happier then when the family was all together. She loved animals but most of all her horse Merlin, and she got such a joy when she rode him. The memory of her bright smile, quick wit, and sunny disposition will never ever be forgotten. Our hearts will forever feel the enormous loss and emptiness of her absence. We’ll remember her for the beautiful, funny, smart, loving beacon of light that she is and will always remain in our hearts and on our minds forever and always. Lots of Love.
