De Benedictis, Michele It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a great man who was embraced by God at the age of 88. Born in Miranda Isernia Italy, on March 13, 1924 and immigrated to Canada September 28, 1953. We mourn Michele's passing from the earth with grace and dignity. Reunited in heaven with his parents Domenico (1980) Anna (1987) and brother Raffaele (2007). He devoted his life to his family and blessed everyone with his love, faith, generosity and kindness. Loving husband of Filomena (Tortola) for 58 cherished years. Adored by daughter Lisa Beaulieu (Mark). Cherished and adored Nonno of Daniella Scarano (Luciano), and Stephanie Anselm (Sam). Cherished Bisnonno of Danica Scarano and Owen and Olivia Anselm. Loving brother of Gaetano (Maria) Italy. Loving brother-in-law of Franco Tortola (Domenica), Domenico Tortola (Assunta) Italy, Giulia DeBenedictis Italy. Uncle to many nephews and nieces of Windsor and Toronto, Ontario and of Isernia, Italy.
