Obituary of William Francis Galvin

GALVIN, William F. Passed away peacefully at 74 years of age at WRH Met Campus, born in Detroit January 26, 1938 and slipped away July 28, 2012. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Kiefer). Cherished father of Michael & wife Anne (Goggins), Monica & husband Dave Findlay, Mark & wife Sandra (Reed-Ponto). Much loved Papa of Trevor, Ross, Matt, Jordynn, Kyle, John & Luke. Predeceased by two brothers (one his identical twin) and survived by one sister. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and he loved a good debate. He will be fondly remembered for his wisdom, quick wit, amazing generosity and undying love for his wife, children, their spouses and especially his grandchildren. A golden heart stopped beating and has left a great void in all the lives that were blessed to know him. We will all miss you terribly. Mr. Galvin retired as a top psychologist with the Detroit Public School Board, and was 3rd order Franciscan. As per Mr. Galvin's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services.
