BENETEAU, Paul G. Passed away on July 9, 2012, Beloved husband of Theresa (Terry) (nee Ellwood) for 49 years. Dear father of Gregory and wife Oksana Beneteau of California, Paula and husband Daniel St-Gelais, Renee and husband Claus Nader of Toronto. Treasured grandfather of Calvin, Luc, and Ela. Dearest son of the late Louis and Lucy Beneteau. Beloved brother of the late Jules Beneteau and wife Dolores; Madeleine and husband Nil Desmarais; Margarite and the late Dick Martin; Lucille and husband Ron Henderson; John and wife Helen Beneteau; the late Phil and Mary Lou Beneteau; the late Marie and Gerry Desmarais and the late Florence and Ed Beaudoin. Dear son in-law of the late William and Evelyn Ellwood. Brother in-law to: Orville (Marie) Ellwood, Richard (late June) Ellwood, Bernadette Casey, Dolores (Russell) Shaw, Allan (Anne) Ellwood, Marilyn (Michael) Maddison, Thomas (Geraldine) Ellwood and John (Grace) Ellwood. Paul was an artist of many talents and his creativity came through his many woodcarvings, as a member of the Windsor Woodcarving Museum, and years of pottery at Art in the Park. He was a generous family man, happiest when spending time with his family, friends, and grandkids. Paul was a member of the Knights of Columbus, active in the parish at Most Precious Blood and a lover of the Red Wings, Tigers, and Lions and retired after 33 years at Revenue Canada. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. followed by Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree Council # 9793 prayers. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Most Precious Blood Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness, donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or Hotel Dieu Cardiac Care Unit.
