John was a kind loving generous person I had known for past 9 years. Creative, innovative brilliant man . He got to love the bird room of 12 parrots and them him. He spent happy years with them specially the Pineapple Conure Tessa who went flying to his shoulders happily nibbling his ear Hard to imagine Tessa preferring John than me and Big John laugh about it Among my 3 dogs is a Puggle Bernie, a bright force of nature John got to meet. A rescue tiny puppy who fell in live with John too. First time John put Bernie on a leash and walked around the neighborhood . John came back beaming with pride how our wild boy Bernie was so in awe and kept himself under John's control John was a good friend He loved animals and my housefull of them welcome his coming over to help us . He helped me renovate rooms and electricals in the mechanical room. Together we landscaped the outside with trees and stone walkways plus shrubs to plant around them John loved gardening happy to learn so much about perennials and raising rare fantastic Canna lilies he displayed yearly front of his house attracting people passing by asking about his displayed beauties John was a superb cook. Occasionally, we do quick lunches in the kitchen . John enjoyed new menus of Spanish, Chinese and Filipino cuisines we ventured into. This home he helped put back into a much better shape will miss him And so would I with Max, Bernie, Ollie, Tessa, Rosie, Bella and the rest of the 9 birds in the bird room. Till we meet again John See you up there! And thank you James to let me share his Obituary. John loved his 2 best friends, his brothers.
