Obituary of Salvatore "Sam" DeRose

DeRose, Salvatore (Sam) Passed away on Sunday, April 12,2020 with his daughter by his side at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Lina with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. Adored father of Rosa, Onorio, and Carlo (Anita). Cherished grandfather of Nick Cipparrone (Sevi) Sarah Bertoia (Mark), Marco, Anthony, Victoria and Samantha DeRose and great grandfather of Alaina and Amelia Cipparrone. Dear brother of the late Giulia Spadafora (late Michele) and the late Antonio (Virginia). Loving brother in law to Mimmina Spadafora (late Mario), Connie & Domenic Stramacchia and Pina & Vito Beato. Sam leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he loved and cherished. Sam retired from the General Motors Trim Plant after 30 years of service. He was a proud member of Caboto Club and St. Ippolito Society. Dad loved every opportunity to gather with family and friends. These are the moments he most cherished. Our family would like to thank our cousin Anita Mihalic who was our lifeline and anchor in our moment of heartache. We are forever grateful to you.
