Obituary of Louis Gerkman

GERKMAN, Louis Louis Gerkman was born in Slovenia on June 24, 1915 and passed away peacefully on May 7, 2012 at 96 years of age. He is pre-deceased by his parents Josef and Franciska, brothers Frank, Janez, and Stanko, and sisters Frances and Josephine (Juhant). He is survived by his sister-in-law Theresa, and nephews Frank, Ernest, Andrew, and Dr. Frank Juhant in the U.S.A. and sister-in-law Milka, nephew Janez and nieces Veronika (Sedusak) and Marjeta (Osolnik) in Slovenia. At Mr. Gerkmans, request, cremation has taken place. Special thanks to the staff of Richmond Terrace Nursing Home for their years of care and compassion. The family will receive friends on Friday August 3, 2012 at St. John Vianney Church (382 Dieppe St.), Memorial Visitation from 10:00 am until time of Memorial Mass at 10:30 am. Interment of Mr. Gerkman's cremated remains will take place in August in Kamnik, Slovenia.
