Obituary of Eugene Alfred Walker

WALKER, Eugene "Gene" Passed away peacefully on April 14, 2012, at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, at the age of 75. Predeceased by his parents Telesphore & Anna Walker. Loving father of Susan Walker and husband Kevin Sheehy and Ryan Walker and wife Catherine of Toronto. Dear "Pipi" to Connor, Lily, and Nigel. Dear brother of Ernest Walker, Marcel Walker, Roland Walker and Marie Anne Churchill. Predeceased by his brothers Leo and Romeo Walker and sister Jeanette Bezaire. He is remembered by Gail (Kolko) Walker. Gene started in the grocery business in 1948 at Lincoln Rd. and Wyandotte St. E. -Loblaws. He retired as a produce manager from A & P Food Store. Visiting will be held at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. & Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Friends will be received at Our Lady of Assumption Church (350 Huron Church Road) on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Eugene to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada-Windsor/Essex Chapter are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
