Obituary of Stephania Drul

DRUL, Stella Our Blessing... Stella Chuchmuch Drul, April 3, 1927 - March 6, 2012. Taking God"s hand with dignity and grace, our beautiful Mom, Stella Drul, went on to join her husband and family who have passed away before her. She lived her life joyfully with love and compassion for others and she died so peacefully knowing she was so loved. Mom was the dear wife to our Dad, her late husband, Donald (2008), for 62 years. She was and always will be forever loved by her daughter Gale and her husband Barry Burstyn and her son Michael and his wife Lisa. Our Mom will always be loved and remembered as an adoring Baba to her grandchildren: Dana and her husband Dan McDonald, and to Maria and Xander Drul. In October 2011, she was thrilled to be the great-Baba to sweet Morgan Rose McDonald. She also was a very special Mom to Carol Pagaduan and Marianne DeVera. We know Mom is in God"s care and it"s comforting to know she is now with those of her immediate family who have passed away before her: her parents Nick and Anne Chuchmuch, her 2 brothers Steve and Jack, and her 5 sisters, Gladys, Mary, Pauline, Alice and Lena. Mom will be deeply missed by her loving sister Vernice, her sister-in-law Helen Churchmuch, her "dopted" sister Olga Nelles, her wonderful best friend Flo Shewchuck and by her many nieces and nephews. She was special to her in-laws, Olly Drul and the late Myron (2012), and to Peter Drul and his late wife Natha. Her other family includes her truly wonderful neighbours: Joan and Chuck Moore, Brian and Michelle Lloyd, Elaine Cline, Peter and Antonella Ferro and Vic and Janice Dominato. We invite you to be with us at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519 253 7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 7-9pm. Panakhyda at 7:45 p.m. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 9 2012 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel.
